Mr. P Gopi Krishna, Chairman of the Bank receiving the National Awards (“APY Big Believers” & “Leadership capital”) for significant enrollment of Atal Pension Yojana (APY) from PFRDA in Summit held at Chennai recently .

24-01-2022 : Sri Supratim Bandopadhyay, Chairman PFRDA handed over the award. Mr. A G Das, Executive Director, PFRDA, Mr. Deepak Mohanty, whole time member, PFRDA and others were present.

24-01-2022 : Mr P Gopi Krishna , Chairman of the Bank is seen receiving the Prestigious ASSOCHAM award from Mr. R Gurumurthy, Regional Director, RBI at a function held at at Bangalore recently along with Mr. Brij Mohan Sharma Executive Director Canara Bank, Mr. Niraj Kumar Verma, Chief General Manager, NABARD , Mr.B Chandrashekhar Rao, General Manager, Canara Bank and convener of SLBC and others




The bank firmly believes that delivery of financial services at an affordable cost and also social security schemes to the vast sections of the disadvantaged and low-income groups is a National Priority.

The Bank has done exceedingly well in this area. The Pension fund regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has awarded 16 awards to the bank for outstanding achievement under enrollment of Atal Pension Yojana(APY) accounts during the various campaigns launched during the year 2020-21
